The Jaskinia Wołoszyńska Niżnia cave is a cave in the Wołoszyn massif in the Dolina Białki valley in the Polish High Tatras . It is about 20 meters below the Jaskinia Wołoszyńska Wyżnia cave .
Location and description
The cave is about 47 meters long and about 16 meters deep. The entrance is at an altitude of 1130 m npm , which is not far from the Hala Wołoszyńska alpine pasture . The cave was discovered by A. Michalik in 1950 and described by Stefan Zwoliński in 1952 . There is a waterfall and a small lake in the cave. The further outflow of the water has not been researched. There are stalactites in the cave .
etymology
The name Jaskinia Wołoszyńska Niżnia can be translated as Lower Wołoszyn Cave or Lower Cave in Wołoszyń .
tourism
There is no hiking trail leading to the cave. Permission from the administration of the Tatra National Park is required to enter the cave .
