Jason James Williams (born November 17, 1983 in Marrero , Louisiana ) is an American basketball player. In the NCAA he was active from 2003 to 2006 for the team at the University of Texas at El Paso , where he had broken a teammate's jaw in December 2005 during training. From 2006 to 2009 he was active in the Israeli Ligat ha'Al , where after two years with Bnei hascharon he moved to Maccabi Tel Aviv and the following year to Ironi Naharija . However, he stayed there only briefly and instead went to Italy to play for MiroRadici Finance Vigevano in the second division . This was followed in 2010 and 2011 changes within the league to Snaidero Udine and Assi Basket Ostuni .
