Jason Sears

Jason Kemper Sears (born January 23, 1968 - January 31, 2006 in Tijuana , Mexico ), was an American singer in the punk band Rich Kids on LSD .

Sears was the singer of the band from 1983 to 1989 and from 1994 to the breakup in 1996. The guitarist Chris Rest and drummer Dave Raun moved to Lagwagon . In 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005 RKL played together again for some appearances. After his time at RKL, Sears released the single Jason Sears And Mercury Legion . He died in a drug clinic in Tijuana, Mexico while being treated with the controversial drug ibogaine .
