course
The Javornický potok rises not far from the Polish border on the northeast slope of the Travná ( Krautenwälder Berg , 711 m) in the Reichensteiner Mountains in the Czech Republic . Its source lies in a basin below the Krautenwalder or Landecker Pass (Polish: Przełęcz Lądecka, Czech: Travenské sedlo). On its course leading to the northeast, the stream flows through Travná and then breaks through between the Štít ( Helmberg , 642 m), Strmý vrch ( Tauchgründelberg , 543 m), Patzeltberg and Schuberthübel the mountains in a deep narrow valley with rock formations belonging to the Račí údolí nature reserve . The stream then flows through Podměstí and enters the Przedgórze Paczkowskie ( Patschkauer Foreland ) lowland near Javorník . The Javornický potok finally flows over Ves Javorník to Polish territory, where it joins the Raczyna after a kilometer south of Ujeździec .
The stream has a length of 12.5 kilometers, 11.4 kilometers of which are in the Czech Republic. The Czech part of the catchment area covers 19.19 km² and 90 people live there. (Most of Javorník is in the Račí potok catchment area .) The average flow rate at the Polish-Czech border is 0.368 m³ / s.
