Jean-François Motte
Jean-François Étienne Marie Joseph Ghislaine Gérard Motte OFM (born February 6, 1913 in Mouvaux , † January 19, 2001 ) was a French religious and auxiliary bishop in Cambrai .
Life
Jean-François Motte joined the Order of the Franciscans (OFM) and was ordained a priest on July 26, 1938 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on March 16, 1968 auxiliary bishop in Cambrai and titular bishop of Sufes . The Archbishop of Cambrai , Henri-Martin-Félix Jenny , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Gérard-Maurice-Eugène Huyghe , Bishop of Arras-Boulogne-Saint-Omer , and Barthélemy-Pierre-Joseph-Marie-Henri Hanrion OFM, Bishop of Dapaong . He resigned from his office on May 9, 1985.
