Jean-Michel di Falco Leandri (born November 25, 1941 in Marseille ) is a French clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Gap .

Life

Jean-Michel di Falco Leandri was ordained a priest on August 15, 1984 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Vallis and auxiliary bishop in Paris on July 4, 1997 . The Archbishop of Paris, Jean-Marie Cardinal Lustiger , donated him episcopal ordination on October 10 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Claude Frikart CIM , Auxiliary Bishop in Paris, and Raymond Bouchex , Archbishop of Avignon . His motto is C'est quand je suis faible que je suis fort .

The Pope appointed him auxiliary bishop in Gap on September 2, 2003 . On November 18, 2003, he was appointed Bishop of Gap.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on April 8, 2017.
