Jean Cavadini

Jean Cavadini (born July 27, 1936 in Neuchâtel ; † January 9, 2013 ) was a Swiss politician ( LPS )

Cavadini held his first political office in the city executive of Neuchâtel . After serving on the Grand Council , he was State Councilor for the Canton of Neuchâtel from 1981 to 1993 . He moved into the National Council on November 26, 1979 . On November 30, 1987 he was elected to the Council of States , where he was a member of several commissions. He was not re-elected in the 1999 parliamentary elections and therefore left the Small Chamber on December 5, 1999.

Cavadini was also socially committed, for example, from January 1, 1994 to July 1, 2002 he was the presidency of the Swiss NGO Enfants du Monde.
