Jean Michel Prosper Guérin (born March 23, 1838 in Paris , † April 1, 1921 there ) was a French painter of realism .
Life
Jean Michel Prosper Guérin studied at the Académie des Beaux-Arts under Hippolyte Flandrin in Paris. His son, Charles-François-Prosper Guérin (1875–1939), was also a painter.
