Jean Pyerre , full name Jean Pyerre Casagrande Silveira Correa , (born May 7, 1998 in Alvorada ) is a Brazilian football player in the position of attacking midfielder .

Career

Jean Pyerre began his footballing career at Gremio Porto Alegre or their youth department. In 2017 he made a few games for the Brazilian B-team . In August the same year he made his debut in the Series A . Back then against Botafogo FR from Rio de Janeiro it was 1-0 for the opponent. In the season 2019 he started very strongly. Up to the 19th matchday he made a few games, often in the starting line-up, for Gremio. From the 20th match day, however, he was no longer in the squad of the Brazilian first division team for the rest of the season. In the following season, until the Corona crisis , he only made one game in the Copa Libertadores and two in the state championship.

In August 2019, Grêmio extended his contract with Pyerre until December 2023. The contract contained a transfer clause of 120 million euros, which was the highest amount ever set for a Gremio player.

National team

Pyerre made two games for Brazil's U17s in 2014 . Both were short appearances in friendly matches. In 2015 he took part in the U17 South American Championships , but stayed here without a commitment.
