Jean Ruhland
Jean Ruhland (born December 26, 1834 in Münster in Alsace ; † November 1907 there ) was mayor, entrepreneur and member of the Reichstag .
Life
Ruhland attended the Lyceen in Colmar and Strasbourg from 1846 to 1853. He became an engineer at the École Centrale Paris , where he received his doctorate in 1857 . In Munster he had a business to telegraph rod- impregnation was from 1862 to 1883. Ruhland mayor of Munster from 1886 to 1907. From 1886 he was member of the National Committee and the county council and president of the agricultural Cantonal Association Munster.
From August 1890 to 1893 he was a member of the Reichstag for the constituency of Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine 3 Kolmar .
