Jeanni Seymour (born February 17, 1992 in Johannesburg ) is a South African triathlete who competes for the USA today.

Career

Jeanni Seymour first started as a professional athlete at the age of 19.

In February 2013, she became the national long-distance triathlon champion in South Africa.

In 2012 she moved to the United States and now lives in Boulder, Colorado . She has been in a relationship with triathlete Justin Metzler since 2015 . It mainly starts in races over the middle distance (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running). She has been part of the First Endurance Team since 2016 .

In April 2017, the then 25-year-old won the first edition of the Ironman 70.3 Liuzhou .
