Jeff Nathanson

Jeff Nathanson (born October 12, 1965 in Los Angeles ) is an American screenwriter , film producer and director .

Nathanson studied at the University of California, Los Angeles until 1985 . In 1989 he participated in the American Film Institute's screenwriting training program. Nathanson is known for his screenwriting on such films as Rush Hour 2 and Catch Me If You Can . Nathanson worked with George Lucas on the script for the fourth part of the Indiana Jones series. He made his debut as a director in 2004 with the film The Last Shot , for which he also wrote the screenplay.

Nathanson wrote the script for the fifth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge , which premiered in May 2017.
