Jeff Orlowski

Jeff Orlowski (born February 18, 1984 in Staten Island , New York ) is an American film director and cameraman .

Jeff Orlowski has been making short films since 2006, and while still a student at Stanford University , he began shooting the documentary Chasing Ice . For that he was awarded the Satellite Award for best documentary film in 2012.

In 2017 he received the Champions of Earth Award .

In 2018 he was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
