Venues of the Gauliga Cologne-Aachen 1941/42

The Gauliga Köln-Aachen 1941/42 was the first season of the Gauliga Köln-Aachen of the professional football department . It was created next to the Gauliga Moselland as a division of the previously existing Gauliga Mittelrhein . The Gauliga was played this season with nine teams in a round-robin tournament. In the end, VfL Köln prevailed in 1899 and became championship champions of Cologne-Aachen for the first time, after the club had won the championship in the Gau Mittelrhein the previous season. As a result, the Cologne team qualified for the German soccer championship 1941/42 , in which they entered the round of 16 thanks to a bye . There, Cologne were eliminated after a 3-1 defeat against Kickers Offenbach . After the season, SSV Troisdorf 05 and Rhenania Würselen withdrew, which meant that there were no relegated athletes.
