Jeff Parke (born March 23, 1982 in Abington Township , Pennsylvania ) is an American football player in the position of center- back . Since the end of March 2010 he has been under contract with Seattle Sounders FC .

Career

Parke began his career in the youth teams of FC Delco, as well as in 2000 with the soccer team at Drexel University in Philadelphia , which he attended until 2003 and for which he completed 16 games in his senior year and scored a goal in the last game of the season, what meant winning the title. In 2004 he was accepted by the New York Red Bulls , who at that time still played under the name MetroStars , as the sixtieth and thus last player in the MLS SuperDraft .
