Jeff Parke (born March 23, 1982 in Abington Township , Pennsylvania ) is an American football player in the position of center- back . Since the end of March 2010 he has been under contract with Seattle Sounders FC .
Career
Parke began his career in the youth teams of FC Delco, as well as in 2000 with the soccer team at Drexel University in Philadelphia , which he attended until 2003 and for which he completed 16 games in his senior year and scored a goal in the last game of the season, what meant winning the title. In 2004 he was accepted by the New York Red Bulls , who at that time still played under the name MetroStars , as the sixtieth and thus last player in the MLS SuperDraft . He made his debut in Major League Soccer on April 3, 2004 when he played against Columbus Crew , which the MetroStars won 3-1. His first goal in a league game scored Parke on June 12, 2004 in the 3-1 loss to the San José Earthquakes . On March 31, 2009, the Vancouver Whitecaps , who lead their game operations in the second-rate USL First Division , announced the commitment of Parke. A year later he moved again to the Seattle Sounders.
Doping result
