Jeffrey A. Carver

Jeffrey Allan Carver (born August 25, 1949 in Cleveland , Ohio ) is an American science fiction author. Today he lives in the Boston area .

According to him, his preferred subjects are space travel, contact with aliens , artificial intelligence , "transcendent realities" and the moral, ethical and spiritual implications of these possibilities.

His best-known works include the Chaos Chronicles , which deal, among other things, with an alien species - the Quarx - that has been protecting the most diverse worlds from catastrophes for eons by ingeniously applying the principles of the chaos theory.
