Yegor Valeryevich Aveverin ( Russian Егор Валерьевич Аверин ; born August 25, 1989 in Omsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Lokomotive Yaroslavl from the Continental Hockey League since May 2012 .

Career

Yegor Awerin began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Awangard Omsk , for whose professional team he was active in the super league from 2006 to 2008 . From the 2008/09 season the attacker took part with the HK Awangard in the game operations of the newly founded Continental Hockey League and reached the playoff final with his team in the 2011/12 season.

Awerin has been under contract with Lokomotive Yaroslavl since May 2012 .

International

For Russia , Awerin took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2007 , where he and his team became world champions. He contributed to this success with three goals and two assists in seven games.
