Jeje Lalpekhlua Fanai (born January 7, 1991 in Hnahthial ) is an Indian football player who is mainly used as a striker. He is currently under contract with the Indian Super League club Chennaiyin FC from the state of Tamil Nadu .
Career

Jeje Lalpekhlua was discovered by the Goa scouts and signed at the age of 16 years a contract with the established in 2007 Club Pune FC , who because of Bengalenwarans in the logo also "Red Lizards" ( English " Red Lizard " is called).
Initially Lalpekhlua played in the youth department and then made his debut in 2009 at the age of 18 with the professionals who were promoted from the I-League 2nd Division , the second highest division in Indian football, to the I-League above for the 2009/10 season had made it. According to the database, he scored two goals this season. This was followed by the league-internal change to the "Pailan Arrows" (meanwhile "Indian Arrows") for the 2010/11 season, a team specially designed for the Indian national team that was supposed to collect match practice in league operations with a view to the soccer world championship. Lalpekhlua remained loyal to this club up to and including the 2018/19 season in that he alternated for Mohun Bagan AC in the I-League . He won the 2014/15 championship with Mohun Bagan and 2015 with Chennaiyin FC.
National team
In the Indian national football team U-20 men he took over in 2010 in the known as the "South Asian Federation Games" South Asia play the role of the captain.
Lalpekhlua actually moved seamlessly to the senior division of the Indian national soccer team. There he won the 2015 edition of the South Asian Cup .
At the Intercontinental Cup 2018 , a mini-tournament for four teams from three regional confederations of the world football association FIFA , which was held in India for the first time in 2018 , he was set as a player in advance. For example, he played the final on the starting grid, even if he was replaced after a little over 60 minutes.
