Ekaterina Innokentyevna Novgorodova

Yekaterina Innokentjewna Novgorodowa ( Russian Екатерина Иннокентьевна Новгородова ; born April 13, 1929 in the village of Kytanach, Ulus Tschuraptscha , Yakutian ASSR ) is a Soviet - Russian agronomist .

Life

Novgorodowa came from a Yakut peasant family. During the German-Soviet war , she worked in a kolkhoz Kytanach. In 1948 she became the secretary of the Executive Committee of the Kytanach Village Soviet and then an instructor of the Churaptscha Rajonsovets Executive Committee . The study at the Agricultural line cadres -School in Yakutsk , she joined in 1955 as an agronomist and was brigade leader of the complex brigade in Ulus Churapcha.

1957 Nowgorodowa Junioragronomin of Lenin - State Farm in Rajon Megino-Kangalass and then headed over 30 years, the vegetable brigade. In the years of the five-year plans , she was the first in Yakutia to introduce electric heating of greenhouses . Seedlings grew under polyethylene sheeting . Potatoes and vegetables were watered . With the various measures Novgorodowa was able to increase production considerably.

Novgorodova was a member of the Yakut ASSR in the Union Soviet of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR from 1970 to 1989 . In 1992 she retired.

In 2012, Novgorodova's name was recorded on the plaque at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Sakha Republic in Yakutsk.
