Jekaterina Vladimirovna Wetkova ( Russian Екатерина Владимировна Веткова , scientific transliteration Ekaterina Vladimirovna Vetkova ; born August 1, 1986 in Syzran ) is a Russian handball player .
Wetkowa was under contract from 2004 to 2007 with the Russian first division club GK Lada Tolyatti . During this period she won the Russian Championship in 2005 and 2006 and the Russian Cup in 2007. Her next stop was the league rival Zvezda Zvenigorod , with whom she won the EHF Champions League and the EHF Champions Trophy in 2008. In 2011 the circle player moved to the Romanian top club CS Oltchim Râmnicu Vâlcea . With Oltchim she won the championship in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons. In order to get more game shares, she moved to the Russian club GK Astrachanotschka in December 2012 . From summer 2014 she ran for the Romanian first division club CSM Bucharest . With CSM Bucharest she won the championship in 2015 and 2016, the Romanian Cup in 2016 and the EHF Champions League in 2016. From the summer of 2016 she was under contract with the French first division team Toulon Saint-Cyr Var Handball . Two years later she joined the Romanian association ASC Corona 2010 Brașov . For the 2019/20 season Wetkowa moved to the French first division club Jeanne d'Arc Dijon Handball .
Wetkowa is a member of the Russian national team . With Russia she won the 2009 World Cup . She also won the bronze medal at the 2008 European Championships .
