Tatjana Jelača

Tatjana Jelača ( Serbian Татјана Јелача ; born August 10, 1990 in Sremska Mitrovica ) is a Serbian javelin thrower .

Jelača reached sixth place at the 2007 World Youth Championships in Ostrava with a width of 48.12 m. At the European Winter Cup 2008 in Split , she reached seventh place. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , she took part in the javelin throw , but could not qualify for the final. Shortly before, she had won the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz . At the European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona , she reached 12th place. Shortly before, she won the gold medal with the team at the 2010 European Athletics Team Championship .

At the European Championships in Zurich in 2014 , she won the silver medal with a new national record of 64.21 m.

Jelača won the Serbian Championships and the Junior Balkan Championships in 2009.
