Jeldos Quanyschuly Akhmetov ( Kazakh Елдос Қуанышұлы Ахметов , Russian Елдо́с Куаны́шевич Ахме́тов ; * June 1, 1990 in Jambul , Kazakhstan SSR ) is a Kazakh football player in the Qysylord Qaisar League since 2020 .

Career

society

Akhmetov began his career with the Kazakh second division club Laschyn Karatau . For the 2009 season he then moved to Ertis Pavlodar in the Premjer League, where he played a total of 55 games. After three seasons at Pavlodar, Akhmetov moved to FK Taras , where his 1-0 home win against Sunkar Kaskelen on March 18, 2012 made his debut.

On June 26, 2013 he signed a contract with FK Astana . Akhmetov scored his first goal for the club on September 14, 2013 in a 4-2 home win over Ertis Pavlodar . On July 17, 2014, he made his debut in an international club competition when he came to his first Europa League appearance in the second qualifying round in the encounter with Hapoel Tel Aviv ; the game ended in a 3-0 win for Astana. After he had successfully survived the third qualifying round with Astana, the club was eliminated from the competition in the play-offs against FC Villarreal from Spain. At the end of the 2014 season he was able to win the Kazakh championship with FK Astana.

National team

Akhmetov made his debut in the Kazakh U-21 national team on June 3, 2011 in the qualifying match for the U21 European Championship against Romania (0-0). He played a total of eleven games for the U-21 team. His only game so far in the Kazakh national football team he had on February 29, 2012 in the friendly against Latvia (0-0), when he came on for Mark Gorman in the 46th minute .
