Jelena Viktorovna Karpova ( Russian Елена Викторовна Карпова ; born June 14, 1980 in Leningrad , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a former professional Russian basketball player .

On August 28, 2004 Karpova won the bronze medal at the 2004 Olympic Games with the Russian team.

In 2006 Karpowa was runner-up in Brazil. In 2001 in France and in 2005 in Turkey she became vice European champion.

In 1997 and 1999 she became Polish champion with the Lotos Gdynia association.

In 2009 Karpova ended her sporting career.
