Jelysaveta Valerijivna Botschkarjowa , also Yelyzaveta Bochkarova , ( Ukrainian Елизавета Валеріївна Бочкарьова ; born May 5, 1978 in Lviv ) is a former Ukrainian cyclist who was active on the road and rail .

Athletic career

In 2006 and 2007 Jelysaveta Botschkarjowa was Ukrainian road racing champion , in the individual time trial she finished third. At the third run of the Track Cycling World Cup 2007/08 she won the team pursuit together with Lesja Kalytowska and Switlana Haljuk . In the same composition, the Ukrainian team finished eighth at the 2010 UCI Track World Championships in Copenhagen . In 2011 she became national runner-up in road racing and third in the individual time trial, and at the European Track Championships in Apeldoorn , Botschkarjowa, Kalytowska and Haljuk finished fourth.

In 2012, Botschkarjowa won the third run of the Track Cycling World Cup 2011/12 together with Haljuk and Lyubow Schulika . At the World Championships in the same year she was ninth in the singles pursuit . In the same year she started at the Olympic Games in London and finished ninth in the team pursuit with Kalytowska and Haljuk. Then she ended her career.
