Jennie Abrahamson (born May 28, 1977 in Sävar ) is a Swedish pop singer and songwriter . Born not far from Umeå in the north of Sweden , she now lives in the Stockholm district of Södermalm .

Career

After playing in various bands and working with various other artists, she started a solo career in Sweden in 2006 . With the support of her friends Friska Viljor and Ane Brun , Abrahamson founded her own record label in 2007 . Together with her long-term partner Johannes Berglund , she also runs a music studio in Stockholm. With Peter Gabriel she toured North America and Europe on his Back to Front - So tour in 2013 and 2014 together with Linnea Olsson as supporting act and background singer . During this tour she also took on the vocal part of Kate Bush on the song Don't give up .
