Jennifer "Jen" Bilodeau Morgan (born March 13, 1971 , Fairfax , USA ) is an American manager . She was a board member of the SAP group of companies since 2017 . From October 2019 until April 30, 2020, she was Co- CEO of SAP together with Christian Klein .

Career

Jennifer Morgan is a graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg , where she studied business administration . There she was active as part of the Advisory Committee of the College of Business and as a member of the Marketing Advisory Council.

After completing her studies, she began her professional career in 1993 as a customer manager at Andersen Consulting, now Accenture . In 2000 she then switched to the software company Siebel Systems .

In 2004 she first joined SAP as Vice President, Federal Civilian, and held various management positions. In May 2014, Morgan became President of SAP North America. In this region, Morgan was responsible for converting the software company to the cloud.

Morgan has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the American investment bank, Bank of New York Mellon , New York, since December 2016 .

She had been a member of the Executive Board since 2017 and was responsible for Group strategy for 43,000 employees and 230,000 customers and the Americas (North America, Latin America, Caribbean) and Asia-Pacific-Japan regions. She heads the Global Customer Operations department together with Adaire Fox-Martin .

After the resignation of SAP CEO Bill McDermott , who has been in office since 2010 , Jennifer Morgan became the first woman to head a DAX group on October 11, 2019 . On April 21, 2020, the end of the collaboration was announced on April 30, 2020.

honors and awards

In 2017 the New York Hall of Science honored Morgan with the Distinguished Leadership Award.

In 2019 she was named one of the “Most Powerful Women” by Fortune and Forbes magazines .

Private

Morgan is married and has two children. She has been a member of the advisory board of the US non-profit organization National Academy Foundation (NAF) since 2015 .
