Jennifer Plass
Jennifer Plass (born July 10, 1985 in Hamburg ) is a German hockey player .
Plass has been active in youth teams for the German Hockey Association since 2001 . In 2002 she won the U18 European Championship with the German team, and in 2003 she won silver. At the U21 European Championship in 2004, she also won a silver medal, as well as in 2005 at the Junior World Championship. In 2006 she was part of the winning team at the U21 European Championship. Before that, she had already made her debut in the German national hockey team on January 20, 2006 at the European Indoor Hockey Championship and was European Indoor Champion in her first tournament in the adult class. The following year she took third place at the 2007 World Indoor Hockey Championships in Vienna, and in August 2007 she won the title at the European Field Hockey Championships in Manchester. In the following years, the striker was not present at every tournament, but she was part of the team that won the silver medal at the European Championships in 2009 and 2011 .
Jennifer Plass has completed 104 international matches, eleven of them indoors. (As of July 3, 2012)
She started at Uhlenhorster HC , but later moved to Junior Barcelona . In the 2011/12 season, she returned to her old Hamburg team after national coach Michael Behrmann wanted to see all the candidates for the Olympic team in the top German or Dutch division. Plass is a tourism specialist.
