List of architectural monuments in the Hawke's Bay region

This list of monuments in the Hawke's Bay region including all the New Zealand Historic Places Trust as a memorial (Historic Place Category 1, 2 or Historic area) classified buildings and areas of protected buildings of the New Zealand Region Hawke's Bay . Unless otherwise stated, the information in the NZHPT register is decisive for the information; the spelling of the lemmas / designations is based as far as possible on the naming in this register, unless articles are already available.

The list also includes Waihi Tapu / Waihi Tapu Area (culturally and religiously significant sites and areas of the Māori ), which, however, have so far mostly not been published on the publicly accessible pages of the NZHPT.

On May 7, 2013, 271 buildings and monuments (excluding the unpublished Waihi Tapu) were identified in the region, including 48 Category 1 Historic Places, 192 Category 2 Historic Places, three Historic Areas, 21 Wahi Tapu and four Wahi Tapu Area.

The following list currently includes all entries in Category 1 as of May 19, 2013 and basic entries of all Historic Places Category 2, Historic Areas, Wahi Tapu and Wahi Tapu Areas as of May 31, 2013. The following localities with more than five monuments have their own lists of monuments, all others are summarized in the table below.
