List of architectural monuments in the Otago region

The list of architectural monuments in the Otago region includes all of the New Zealand Otago region's monuments and area monuments classified by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust (NZHPT) as "Historic Place" or "Historic Area" . The information comes from the register of the NZHPT. The names of the architectural monuments are based on this register. Well-known Wahi Tapu (Area), culturally and religiously significant sites and areas of the Māori , are also included in the list. However, they are usually not published.

On May 4, 2013, 763 buildings and monuments (excluding unpublished Waihi Tapu) were designated in the region, including 22 Historic Areas, 190 monuments of category 1, 549 monuments of category 2 and 1 published Wahi Tapu area. The list contains at least basic entries of all monuments as of May 4, 2013.

The following localities with more than five monuments have their own lists of monuments, all others are summarized in the table below.
