List of architectural monuments in the Chatham Islands

The list of monuments on the Chatham Islands includes all monuments and area monuments of the New Zealand Chatham Islands classified by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust (NZHPT) as "Historic Place" or "Historic Area" . The information comes from the register of the NZHPT. The names of the architectural monuments are based on this register. Well-known Wahi Tapu (Area), culturally and religiously significant sites and areas of the Māori , are also included in the list. However, they are usually not published.


In January 2013, ten buildings and monuments (including published Waihi Tapu) were designated on the islands, of which 4 Historic Places of Category 1, 6 Historic Places of Category 2 and one Wahi Tapu (WT).
