List of architectural monuments in the West Coast region

The list of monuments in the West Coast region includes all monuments and area monuments of the New Zealand West Coast region classified by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust (NZHPT) as "Historic Place" or "Historic Area" . The information comes from the register of the NZHPT. The names of the architectural monuments are based on this register. Well-known Wahi Tapu (Area), culturally and religiously significant sites and areas of the Māori , are also included in the list. However, they are usually not published.

On July 10, 2013, 114 buildings and monuments (excluding unpublished Waihi Tapu) were designated in the region, including 7 Historic Areas, 32 monuments of category 1, 73 monuments of category 2 and 2 published Wahi Tapu.

The following localities with more than five monuments have their own lists of monuments, all others are summarized in the table below.
