Christian Rendel
Christian Rendel (born January 26, 1960 in Lich ) is a freelance translator (English / American), author and literary scholar .
Life
Christian Rendel studied German and history at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen . Rendel was best known for translating the books by CS Lewis (Narnia) and Adrian Plass (The Visit). As co-editor of the Inklings yearbook and through numerous lectures and a biography on Lewis, he has been known as a Lewis expert for many years. He currently lives with his wife and two children near Göttingen .
