Jens Dethloff

Jens Dethloff (born February 8, 1982 in Bützow ) is a German handball player and handball trainer .

Dethloff came through the clubs TSV Bützow 1952 eV, Schwaaner SV and the HC Empor B and A-Jugend in 2001 to join the first men's team of HC Empor Rostock , which plays in the second handball league . In the 2002/2003 season he had a double play right for the then regional league team of TSV Bützow.

In 2007 he was voted player of the season 2006/2007 by the fans of the 1st men's team of HC Empor on a website.

The right-hander now plays in the center of the circle.

In November 2011 he was appointed interim coach at HC Empor Rostock together with Michal Brůna .
