Jens Fischer (cook)
Jens Fischer (born February 13, 1974 ) is a German chef .
Career
After training at Bollant's in Bad Sobernheim , Fischer moved to the Freundstück restaurant in Deidesheim , then to Aqua in Wolfsburg and to the Hotel Giardino in Ascona . He then cooked in the Dieter Müller restaurant in Bergisch Gladbach (three Michelin stars ). He then moved to Doris-Katharina Hessler in Maintal , to the Landhaus St. Urban with Harald Rüssel and to the Orangery Nassauer Hof in Wiesbaden .
He gained experience as a chef at the Passiona Rossa and Hermannshof restaurants in Bad Sobernheim, then at the Ketschauer Hof in Deidesheim.
From October 2013 he was head chef at the Jungborn restaurant in Bad Sobernheim, which has since been awarded one star in the Michelin Guide . In March 2019 he announced that he and his wife would take on a new challenge in June 2019.
