Harald Rüssel

Harald Rüssel (* 1965 in Stolberg (Rhineland) ) is a German chef .

Career

Rüssel comes from a family of restaurateurs. After training as a chef in the Burgkeller in Stolberg, he cooked in the 3-star restaurant La Bonne Auberge in Antibes , the grape in Grevenbroich with Dieter L. Kaufmann and in the Swiss parlors in Wertheim-Bettingen with Dieter Müller and later Fritz Schilling . Here Harald Rüssel met his future wife, the sommelier Ruth Weis. In 1992, the two Rüssels Landhaus St. Urban opened in Naurath (Wald) , which received a Michelin star the following year .

In 1999 he presented the 38-episode program Simply delicious - Cooking with Harald Rüssel, his own TV series for cooking on SWR . From 2000 to 2006 Rüssel was President of the German section of the Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe .

For the SR television he hosts along with Manuel Andrack the cooking show "2 man for all transitions," which is now being produced in the fourth season.
