Jens Grapengeter

Jens Grapengeter (born July 2, 1967 in Hamburg ) is a Hamburg CDU politician .

Life

Jens Grapengeter did 15 months of military service after graduating from high school . He then took up studies at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration , which he finished in 1991 with a degree in administrative management (FH). In 1988 he decided to become a civil servant and was sworn in as a civil servant for life in 1994 . In addition to his political work, he is a founding member of the Hamburg donation parliament .

Jens Grapengeter has been a member of the CDU since 1986 and since then has held various functions in the CDU local association in Barmbek and in the CDU district association in Hamburg North. Since 2002 he has been the local chairman of the CDU Barmbek and a member of the district committee of the CDU Hamburg-Nord. From 1997 to 2004 he was district chairman of CDA Hamburg Nord and from 1999 to 2004 deputy state chairman of CDA Hamburg. Jens Grapengeter was a member of the local committee Barmbek-Uhlenhorst from 1995 to 2004 and from 1997 to 2003 a member of the health and social committee of the district assembly Hamburg-Nord.

From 2004 to 2011 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament . For his group he took on tasks in the submission committee, in the budget committee as well as in the committees for public service and human resources and for assets and public companies. He was the specialist spokesman for petitions and a member of the hardship commission. In the 2011 mayor election , he missed re-entry into the mayor , but was elected to the Hamburg-Nord district assembly on the same day .
