Jens Höing

Jens Höing (born February 21, 1987 in Münster ) is a German racing car driver .

Career

Höing began his motorsport career at the age of eight in karting . In 2005 he joined the Formula racing and went into the German Formula BMW at the start. Starting for the Rosberg team , he finished 23rd overall at the end of the season. Höing stayed in the German Formula BMW for the next two seasons and finished 14th overall in both seasons. He didn't make a podium finish in any of the three seasons. In 2008 Höing switched to the German Formula 3 Cup , in which he finished 17th in the overall standings with one point.

Although Höing had not achieved any major successes in junior racing series in his previous career, he received a contract in the revived FIA Formula 2 championship in 2009 . Höing did not score points in any race and was 26th overall at the end of the season. His best result was a thirteenth place. Of the 16 races in which he started, he only crossed the finish line six times.

Personal

Parallel to his involvement in motorsport, Höing studied business administration at the University of Applied Management in Erding .
