Jens Heyer (born February 11, 1989 in Bad Muskau , GDR ) is a former German ice hockey player who was under contract with the Lausitzer Füchsen in the 2nd Bundesliga and DEL2 for many years .

Career

Jens Heyer began his career as an ice hockey player in the junior department of the ES Weißwasser , for which he was active in the German junior league from 2004 to 2006 . Then the defender moved to the Eisbären Juniors Berlin , for which he played in the third division league after another DNL year in the 2008/09 season . At the same time, he played a total of nine games for FASS Berlin in the Regionalliga , the fourth German division. For the 2008/09 season he signed a contract with the Blue Lions Leipzig , for which he scored 18 points scorer in 50 games in the major league, including three goals.

For the 2009/10 season , Heyer was signed by his home club, for whose professional team Lausitzer Füchse he has played in the 2nd Bundesliga ever since . As a loan player, he also made a total of seven appearances for the EHC Jonsdorfer Falken between 2009 and 2011 , first in the regional league and then in the major league.

In 2017 he ended his career after more than 400 second division games.
