Jens Langsdorff

Jens Langsdorff (* 28. September 1938 in Hamburg , † 1. February 2004 ) was a Hamburg politician of the CDU and member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and politics

Langsdorff was a trained businessman. He was married and had two children.

From November 1986 to 1997 he was a member of the Hamburg parliament for the CDU. There he was for the CDU parliamentary group in the budget committee, environment committee and transport committee.

Langsdorff died in 2004 after a long and serious illness. The CDU district chairman of Hamburg-Wandsbek Jürgen Klimke described him in an obituary as an "unshakable political advisor and a helpful worker with a sense of duty that can hardly be surpassed."
