Jens Weymann-Reh (born May 1, 1972 in Mülheim an der Ruhr as Jens Weymann) is a German local politician ( SPD ).

Life

After completing his general university entrance qualification in 1991, Jens Weymann-Reh trained as a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade in Mülheim an der Ruhr. He then did community service at the Arbeiterwohlfahrt Mülheim an der Ruhr in the area of ​​community work and then studied social, religious and community education at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Rhineland-Westphalia-Lippe in Bochum.

Since his confirmation in 1986, Weymann-Reh has been working on a voluntary basis for the Protestant parish in Heißen in Mülheim an der Ruhr. He worked as an honorary member of the local council in Heißen-Heimaterde at the Mülheim Workers' Welfare Association, Aids Aid, the Office for Children, Youth and Schools of the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr and the Social Democratic Party of Germany in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Since 2009 he has been a member of District Representation 1 (Heißen).

Weymann-Reh is a founding member of the "Social Association for Lesbians and Gays" and the "The Little Visionaries" Association in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Besides being a presbyter of the parish hot and as a district representative of BV 1 he is in the Youth Assistance Committee of the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr and as a juror at the District Court Duisburg operates.

Weymann-Reh got married on June 1, 2018 at the registry office in Mülheim an der Ruhr.

Awards

In 2007, Jens Weymann-Reh received the state certificate of North Rhine-Westphalia for years of commitment in the field of child and youth work. In 2011 he received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .
