Jerry Hall (born July 2, 1956 in Gonzales , Texas ) is an American model and actress .
Career
Jerry Hall was discovered as a model on a trip to Europe at the age of 16 in St. Tropez and was invited to Paris by a modeling agency. In the mid-1970s, Jerry Hall moved to New York. She worked with fashion designers such as Yves Saint Laurent and appeared on the covers of international fashion magazines such as Elle , Cosmopolitan and Vogue . As a model, she stood in front of the camera for the most famous photographers such as Helmut Newton and promoted brands such as Coca-Cola and Calvin Klein . Hall was one of the most successful international top models in the 1970s and early 1980s and was a star of extravagant New York nightlife. In 1989 she took on a supporting role in the feature film Batman directed by Tim Burton , she played the model Alicia Hunt in this film . In the following years she worked increasingly in cinema and television productions and in 2001 she appeared in the role of Mrs. Robinson in the play The Graduation in London. Hall also spoke a dubbing voice in the English original of the animated series Popetown .
Private life
She has a twin sister named Terry and a younger sister named Cyndy Hall. Hall was in a relationship with Bryan Ferry from 1976 to 1977 , whom she met in 1975 while shooting for the Roxy Music album cover Siren . From 1977 to 1998 Hall lived with Mick Jagger . They were married on November 21, 1990 in a Hindu ceremony in Bali . Their marriage ended in divorce in 1999 when Brazilian model Luciana Gimenez Morad was expecting a child from Jagger.
Hall and Jagger have four children, Elizabeth Scarlett Jagger (* March 2, 1984), James Leroy Augustin Jagger (* August 28, 1985), Georgia May Ayeesha Jagger (* January 12, 1992) and Gabriel Luke Beauregard Jagger (* 9 December 1997).
In 2016, Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch announced their engagement. They were married on March 4, 2016.
