Jerwood Sculpture Trail
Jerwood Sculpture Trail is a sculpture at Ragley Hall in Alcester in the British county of Warwickshire .
history
The sculptures are owned by the Jerwood Sculpture Foundation and have been installed since 2004. Every year since 2011, the collection has been expanded to include the winner of the Jerwood Sculpture Prize , which comes with a cash prize of £ 25,000.
In 2009 Michael Visocchi won the competition and among the applicants was the sculptor Nigel Hall . The winning work Yield was installed in 2010.
In 2010, the Jerwood Sculpture Foundation's collection was expanded to include seven works from the Montgomery Sculpture Trust , made up of sculptures by Russian and Eastern European artists.
