Jesse May

Jesse "The Voice of Poker" May (born July 28, 1980 in Des Moines , Iowa ) is an American poker player and commentator.

Life

May grew up in Madison , New Jersey , where he first encountered the game of poker while playing with friends. In 1988 he began studying at the University of Chicago , but dropped out because the lessons overlapped with his activities in the poker scene, in which he was a player for six years.

Due to the positive reactions to his work as a commentator on the program Late Night Poker , he was subsequently given the opportunity to continue tournaments such as the William Hill Poker Grand Prix , PartyPoker.com Football & Poker Legends Cup , 888.com Poker Nations Cup , and Poker Million Commentary , Victor Chandler Poker Cup , Celebrity Poker Club , and The Poker Show , often in collaboration with Padraig Parkinson .

In 2006 May signed an exclusive contract with Matchroom Sport for the presentation of poker programs.

Jesse May is married and currently lives in Denmark .
