Jessica Ida Olivia Kähärä (born August 1, 2001 in Mikkeli ) is a Finnish high jumper who occasionally competes in the triple jump .

Athletic career

Jessica Kähärä gained her first international experience in 2017 when she won the bronze medal in the high jump at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Győr with a jump of 1.80 m and she also won bronze in the triple jump with 12.85 m. The following year she won the silver medal in the high jump at the U18 European Championships there with a height of 1.80 m and the bronze medal in the triple jump with a width of 13.29 m. In the autumn, she took part in the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires in the high jump and won the bronze medal there. In 2019 she finished eighth in the high jump and triple jump at the U20 European Championships in Borås with a skipped 1.80 m and seventh with 12.90 m.

In 2019 Käkärä became Finnish indoor champion in high jump.
