Jessica Louise King (born May 31, 1992 in Liverpool ) is an English football player .

Career

society

King started her active career at the Formby Junior Sports Club at the age of six and moved to Liverpool FC shortly afterwards at the age of eight . She made her debut with the Reds at the age of 16 and was already the top scorer for the LFC in the FA Women's Premier League National Division by the age of 17 in 2009 . After two years at the senior level, she left England in 2010 to study to join the Athletic Team Trinity Western Spartans . She ran for four years for the TWU Spartans and played for Fraser Valley Action in the Pacific Coast Soccer League during the semester break . After four seasons in the Conference of Independen Schools (CIS), she returned to Liverpool on February 16, 2015 and signed with Everton FC .

On September 1, 2016, after 1½ years, she left her hometown Liverpool and moved to Switzerland for FC Basel . She made her debut on the 10th day of the National League A on September 28, 2016, in a 2-0 win over SC Derendingen Solothurn and scored her debut goal. She ran until the summer of 2017 before leaving the club. In August 2017, King signed in the Allianz Women's Bundesliga with FF USV Jena , and on September 3, 2017, she made her debut against Turbine Potsdam . On August 9, 2018, King moved to Scandinavia where she signed with Kolbotn IL in Norway . King made her debut on August 11th when she came on as a 63-minute substitute.

As a trainer

During the last semesters in Canada, King worked briefly in 2015 as a trainer in the U-18 Girls Elite of the Vancouver Whitecaps . When he moved to Switzerland in 2016, King became a trainer at the InterSoccer Academy in Münchenstein in the canton of Basel-Landschaft .

Awards

During her time in Canada, she won two awards from the Conference of Independent Schools and an award from Trinity Western University .
