Jessica Napier (born April 4, 1979 in Wellington , New Zealand ) is a New Zealand actress . Her father Marshall Napier is also an actor. The family moved to Australia when Jessica was nine years old.

Life

Jessica Napier was born to actor Marshall Napier and her great-grandfather was British actor Alan Napier . She got into acting at the age of twelve when her father asked her to play a small role in an episode of the Police Rescue series because the actress who was actually intended refused to take on the role of a bog corpse. In 2000 she starred alongside Molly Ringwald in the Australian horror film Cut . The New Zealander celebrated her breakthrough in 2001 in the Australian series McLeod's Daughters , in which she played the role of Rebecca (Becky) Howard until 2003 . Her father is also one of the regular cast of the series.

Jessica Napier and her father won the 2002 Australian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? also US $ 64,000 for the South Australian Animal Rights Group .

Since leaving McLeod's daughters, the actress has appeared in a number of Australian television films and series.

Jessica Napier is the cousin of James Napier , who plays Jay in the New Zealand hit series The Tribe from season 4 .
