Marshall Napier

Marshall James Napier (born October 22, 1951 in New Zealand ) is a New Zealand actor .

Life

Marshall's grandfather was the well-known British actor Alan Napier . In 1988 he moved to Australia with his wife and two children, Reuben and Jessica , to pursue his acting career. He received a recurring role in the Police Rescue series and appeared in numerous other series and films. He played a small role in the hit movie A Pig called Babe .

From 2001 to 2006 (episode 151) Marshall Napier played a leading role in the popular series McLeod's Daughters as Harry Ryan, which is broadcast in Germany on VOX and in Austria on ServusTV .

Together with his daughter, actress Jessica Napier , he won the 2002 Australian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? $ 64,000 for the South Australian Animal Rights Group .

In 2017 he appeared on Broadway in the play The Present alongside Cate Blanchett , Richard Roxburgh or Chris Ryan . The play, presented two years earlier by the Sydney Theater Company , made its US Broadway debut at the Ethel Barrymore Theater in 2017 .
