Jessie James Decker (* 12. April 1988 in Vicenza , Italy ; full name Jessica Rose James Decker ), even as Jessie James known is an American Country - Pop - singer .

Career

Jessica James was born in Vicenza in northern Italy at the US military base Caserma Ederle and grew up in Georgia. From there she often drove to the country capital Nashville , where she built her music career. A demo recording finally came to LA Reid , which helped her to a record deal with Island Records .

Her first release was the song Blue Jeans , which appeared on the soundtrack of the movie Shopaholic . For her debut album she worked with the songwriter Kara DioGuardi . She also co-wrote her first single Wanted , which was released in May 2009 and made it into the US Top 40. Jessie James' debut album, which bears her name as a title, was released in the summer of the same year and was also successful in the charts.
