Evgeni Valerjewitsch Aldonin ( Russian Евгений Валерьевич Алдонин , scientific transliteration Evgenij Valer'evič Aldonin ; born January 22, 1980 in Alupka ) is a former Russian football player .

Midfielder Yevgeny Aldonin played for CSKA Moscow from 2004 to 2013 , with whom he won the 2005 UEFA Cup . He started his football career at Rotor Volgograd . In 2004 he took part in the European Championship as a player for the Russian national team. In total, he has so far made 29 international matches. On August 16, 2006 he was the captain of the national team in the game against Latvia .
