Jewhen Witalijowytsch Budnik ( Ukrainian Євген Віталійович Буднік ; born September 4, 1990 in Lutsk ) is a Ukrainian football player .
Career
Budnik started his career at Arsenal Kharkiv . In January 2009 he switched to Metalist Kharkiv . In July 2009 he was in the professional squad for the first time and finally made his professional debut for Metalist in August 2009 in the cup game against Enerhetyk Burschtyn .
It wasn't until October 2011 that Budnik made his debut in the Premjer-Liha when he was in the starting line-up against Chornomorez Odessa on matchday 13 of the 2011/12 season and scored the 1-0 winning goal in the 45th minute. In January 2012 he was awarded to the league competitor Worskla Poltava and also firmly committed after the end of the season.
In January 2014 the striker moved to the Czech Republic on loan to Slovan Liberec . After eleven goalless games in the top Czech league , he returned to the Ukraine for Poltava in the winter of 2014/15. For the 2015/16 season he was awarded to the league competitor FK Stal . For Stal he completed 18 goalless games in the Premjer-Liha.
In July 2016 Budnik was for Belarus to the FC Dinamo Minsk awarded. After the end of the season, he initially returned to Poltava in December 2016, but left the club in the same month and was without a club.
In February 2017 Budnik joined the Austrian second division club Kapfenberger SV . In July 2017 he moved to Greece for the first division club AO Platanias , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2019.
